"LOVE STORIES"

I apologize in advance for not being a very good writer.. definitely not a strong quality of mine - I had to share the following.....

The other day I sat down with my baby girl.. I wanted to read her some of the sweet messages, thoughts and prayers we have received over the last few weeks... 150+ of them. Wow... I am so touched by all the love, there are no words adequate enough to describe how you have made me feel.

We would read a few messages and then look at "Princess pictures"... she loves to look at princess pictures (this is what she calls pictures of herself - too cute) So we would read some e-mails, look at some pictures, read e-mails, look at pictures etc. We came to one e-mail and it was talking about how beautiful and strong she was, she turns and looks at me and said, "that lady just said I was beautiful.....yes I am beautiful." (she looks back at the monitor, head tilted and nodding) and says, "I know I am beautiful, thank you Lady." Oh I had to chuckle..it was so sweet. I have to agree, she is beautiful..... inside and out. She has one of the sweetest, gentlest souls I have ever come across. I am so blessed to have her as my daughter and beyond honored to be her mother !
We continue to read your kind messages and look at pictures... as we were taking a picture break.... she turns to me and says, "mom let's read more love stories for me." I paused, looked at her wee face as my eyes started welling with tears (she just interpreted the messages as love stories for her - I was left speechless - I really had to hold back the tears)..... More "Love Stories" it was and we read each and everyone of them. I was not expecting a two year old to sit there through all of them but she did and she genuinely enjoyed it.
Your kindness not only touched me but it touched her as well... her eyes sparkled at each message read and off course she made other comments but the "love stories" and thanks lady comment really stuck.

From the bottom of my heart, from my family to you... thank you so very much for all your love, support and prayers. I will hold each message close to me this week as we are at the hospital. I am praying for a successful surgery and quick recovery. I will not leave her side until I can bring my baby home ~

Remember to always take a moment to enjoy the simple things in life and to give your loved ones an extra just because hugs and kiss !

MARCH MADNESS

Wow I cannot believe we are 3 months into 2012 and Spring is around the corner ! As usual I have been crazy busy and March has been no exception, if not a little busier as I prepare to take some time off at the end of the month.

I am pretty good at keeping my personal and business life very separate however as some of you know why I will be taking time off. I thought I owed it to all my fans and clients a brief explanation as to why. Not because I am being lazy or taking vacation, (oh how nice a vacation would be) etc. My 2 year old daughter will be having surgery (#2 of 16) as she continues her battle to stay cancer free, so I will be caring for her. It is quite possible she will require at least a week in the hospital post-op, so if you do not hear from me for a few days, I am at her bedside and will be there day and night until I can bring her home. I will try my best to get back to you all when I am at home and she is settled and comfortable.

I am hoping to get all orders out before her surgery and will try my best to do so as per conversations and apologize in advance if I have been a little tardy or if I am in the coming weeks. It drives me nuts but life happens and the health of my children will have to take priority and I think that would be the case for anyone, I hope you can all understand.

To those of you have already been sending me words of admiration, thoughts and prayers.. from the bottom of my heart ~ Thank You ! I have read each e-mail and may have not replied to all but appreciate each and every single word spoken.

I was hoping to release Prairie Tots new face in April and will do so as soon as I can as well as a few other things I have planned. Perhaps a little later than anticipated but will do so as soon as I am able to.

January 2012 Giveaway for Photographers

This month I decided I wanted to say Thank You by giving away one "Eye" Love You Monster hat. I was inspired one evening to make it as I was relaxing with my kids watching Monster's Inc. ~ we all love that movie !

It just made me smile and I had to share and hope that the smiles will be contagious~ smiles are my favorite, they are so simple yet say so much and really do go a long way.

NOVEMBER WINNERS

Wow...... November came an went in a hurry !

A HUGE Thank You to all the vendors whom made the November celebration possible and successful. I hope you all enjoyed visiting all the amazing shops and discovered some new items and services. Many of you even got some of your Christmas shopping done.

ALL winners will be posted below December 1. Remember the vendors will not contact you, you must contact the vendor yourself within 48 hours. Please e-mail the vendor or use the contact tab if they have one... posts on their walls can easily get missed and/or hidden. If a vendor happens to be on vacation or away for any other reason, therefore making contact in 48 hours not possible, please send me a quick message letting me know you have attempted to contact them. If contact has not been made within the above noted time, a new winner will be drawn. Vendors will not accept any late claims. If for whatever reason you decide you do not want to claim your winnings, please let me know so I can re-draw someone else.
Re-draws will be listed in red and you will have 24 hours to claim your winnings

PRODUCT REVIEWS ~ Coming Soon !

I am a big fan of on-line shopping, when I am not working at 2am... much to my husbands "disapproval" I shop... so I have decided that I will start doing reviews of what I buy. ALL items I will review will be of items I have purchased. These will be my opinions and I have not been paid either in money or products to do these reviews.

As of January 2012 I still have not had the chance to do any of my reviews. I have been lacking the time to dedicate to it. I really hope that I will be able to do some in the very near future.

NOVEMBER MULTI-VENDOR CELEBRATION

~ WELCOME ~

I would not be where I am today without each and everyone of you, THANK YOU so much for all your love and support. This celebration is not only to thank all my fans, clients and colleagues for being so amazing and enabling me to be so successful in such a short period of time but to celebrate all the the great businesses taking part.

We all have so much to celebrate !

The celebration will run from November 1 - 30, so you have plenty of time to vist each vendor. Take your time to look at each vendors products, don't just like them and "run". There are many great products and services and I am a happy customer of many of the vendors participating !

To enter ~ become a fan of Prairie Tots Boutique and then kindly visit each vendor's page from your personal page, become a fan/like (unless location restrictions are stated due to the service or nature of the item) and then come back to the album and "like" the picture in the Celebration album. The likes it easier in the end to draw winners so I do not miss anyone when using random.org to select the winners. Please do not like the pictures in the album if you have not had a chance to visit and like a vendor. Feel free to comment on the items posted but that is not necessary. Take your time when visiting each vendor, we have all month, you not need to like them all in a day otherwise it can become overwhleming and pacing yourself will help avoid getting "banned" or warnings by facebook)
It would also be nice to say hello to each vendor and tell them that I sent you (@Prairie Tots Boutique) and thank them for sponsoring but is not necessary however it would be appreciated as this celebration would not have taken place without them. Again, pace yourself to avoid to any warnings or facebook "bans"
You may only enter once per vendor.
If you purchase an item from any of the participating vendors during the month of November, please let me know and you will receive an additional entry. I will confirm the sale with the vendor. A purchase is not necessary to be entered but many of you do make purchases so this is just an added bonus.
New prizes/vendors may be posted throughout the celebration, so check back often to make sure you do not miss out on any of the great items.
Once the celebration is over, winners will be picked via random.org, and posted here on the blog (to comply with facebooks rules on giveaways) by December 2, 2011. The winner will then have 48 hours to contact the vendor directly and make arrangements to have the winning item(s) sent to them. If no contact has been made within that time, a new winner will be selected. If you are not going to be around a computer to check if you are a winner, please do not participate as the vendors will not accept late claims.
If you do not win, kindly do not unlike a vendor for that reason, this is rude and disrespectful. I understand that liking so many pages can fill our newsfeeds and we do not want to miss updates from freinds and family, etc. If for whatever reason you do not want to see particular post, you can hide it or hide all posts by a particular person and/or page.
Prairie Tots Boutique is not responsible in any way for delivery/shipping of any products donated by other vendors. If you win an item, you must correspond with that page about your prize and shipping or delivery. Some vendors may require shipping to be paid by the winner.
Prairie Tots Boutique is only responsible for my products and I will not be held liable for any product or services offered by another vendor. Any discrepensies or issues that you may have must be dealt directly with the vendor.
Prizes have no cash value.
Each vendor will receive many entires, however there will only be one winner selected per vendor.
